Thanks Knights Gaming Repair!

I just wanted to say thanks for my great experience with your business. As soon as my 60GB PS3 returned from having a YLOD issue repaired by you, I was ecstatic to find everything working great and all my saved games intact. I did a lot of research to find an alternative after learning of Sony’s expensive and unattractive offer for repairing an out-of-warranty console (who wants to get back someone else’s refurbished console and lose all of their saved data?!). I wholeheartedly endorse you to anyone with a console issue that is no longer covered under warranty. I also wanted to let you know that I really appreciated the videos on your site giving a tour of your business. It definitely tipped me in favor of choosing you guys over the other websites, especially because I worried about finding someone “legit”. So, thank you so much for a successful customer experience!

Best Regards,

Jessica P.

How do you fix systems? What is Reflow and Reball?

A lot of people are asking what is reflowing or reballing?  Also they ask how does KGR fixes there systems?

Well let me explain what we do.

Reflowing is a process where we heat up the original chip that fails on the board due to cold solder joints underneath the chip.  This is caused by heat, flexing and poor design.  Reheating the board and chip can caused the old solder to become weaker, so we use flux to help it become stronger but not back to its original state when you bought it new.  But the main problem is still there!   Microsoft has to use lead-free solder, which is required by USA law that any kid toys must be lead free solder.  This is where the poor design comes into play.

Reflow expected life.

Xbox 360:  1 month to 1 year.

With a 90 day warranty.

Playstation  3:  4 months to 2 years.

With a 4 Month warranty

Wii:  As of yet they do not require reflow

With a 4 Month warranty

Reballing is a process where we lift off the defective chip and A) Repair it by put lead based solder (stronger solder) on the chip and placing it back on the board or B) Replacing the chip with a new / used chip (working) also by putting lead based solder on it and placing it back on the board.  Why does this work 99.99% of the time?  Because the 99.99% of the time the main problem is either bad chip or bad solder,  so it just needs to be replaced and so that the unit can be put back to new status.  So what is the 0.01% chance this is where the pads on the board that hold the solder in place are bad.  This is rare and if this happens it can not be repaired.  The unit will need to be replaced.

Why is reballing better then sending it to Sony or Microsoft?  Let me explain.  Microsoft & Sony will use lead free solder will is very brittle and can break easy.  We will use Lead Based solder and will last much longer.  Lead based solder is used in high end equipment like USA satellites.

Reball expected life is:

Playstation 3:  2 to 5 years Plus

With a 1 year warranty. (Remember Sony only gives a 90 day warranty when they repair it)

Xbox 360: 1 to 3 years Plus!

With a 6 month warranty (Remember Microsoft only gives a 90 day warranty with them also!)

Wii:  Reball is yet needed!  Why?  Because they do not use overpowered chips on there system causing a lot of heat, causing damage to the board or chip!

Why does Sony and Microsoft do this then?  Because the consumer demands high end graphics!

Why KGR?

I see a lot of you coming here everyday,  all time record was this Friday of 500 people amazing.   Also I see a lot of people not buying from our site.  Only about 5% of people who come actually purchase.   Well I can only concluded that you either do not have money, waiting on money or you do not trust a third party company.     Because 100% sure we are cheaper then Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft.

So why go through us, why trust us?  I’ll give you 10 reasons why!

1)       We are cheaper than anyone else although, we still use high quality product to fix your units, but we can still do it cheaper then anyone else.  And yes we use Arctic Silver 5!

2)      We have longer warranties then other big companies.  You can also extend your warranties unlike other places.

3)      We have high end equipment for longer last repairs then anywhere else period!  We also can do reballing which no one in the nation can do, and also is better then the factory repairs.  Reballing is explained here:

Reflowing is explain also there to.

4)      We are just as quick as everyone else.  Some claim 24 hour turn around but can you be for sure your unit works in 24 hours.  No.  This is why we give it a full 72 business hours  to be repair and check.

5)      With a high success rate on disc read problems of 100% and on reballing of 99.99% you can be for sure that your system will be repaired unlike other places.  If you do choose reflow (cheaper option)  then success rate is 95%.  But you could be upgrade to reball which will give you a higher success rate if the reflow fails.

6)      We have been in business for over two years now repairing thousands of consoles a month.

7)      We our honest company, we will always tell you truth!  We tell you how long the repairs are expected to last.  Just read up on reflowing and reballing to know how long your console will last.

8)      Our techs have been here with us since the beginning they know what they are doing, they are well trained to handle your system.

9)      You have full contact with us.  Normally you will be called when your system gets here, and either called or emailed when your system gets worked on and shipped out.

10)   #1 reason why to go with us, well you get your same system back and your data back intact as long as your system doesn’t have issues with the hard drive or flash memory inside.  Which is only about 3% of the time.

Lastly some people might say:  “Well I see good and bad reviews about your company all over the web.”  This is a very good thing!  If you can’t find anything about a company or not very much you know there not doing very much repair work!    We have reviews everywhere!  Good and bad!  Why are the bad ones good?  If you couldn’t find any bad comments about a company would you find them very legit?  Not everyone is going to be 100% happy.  If I was researching a company I would look for good and the bad.    Usually 50/50 is good.  Why?  Because with reflow we fail about 5% of every machine that comes in here, and if they do not read up on what they should expect then they get angry.  Angry people leave bad comments and explain to others why they are mad.  When clearly we state in our terms and conditions about our fail rate and the bench fee.    Out of 1/10 bad experiences people will leave bad feedback, this is what we’ve seen.  Only about 1 out of 100 will leave good feedback.    So if you have a good experience with us please leave us good feedback.  If bad please talk to us before leaving bad feedback, you never know what we might be able to do for you.  Everyone gets a warranty and every is in titled to a refund of some sort.   So please call us!
